What size laptop can fit in your laptop bag?

You have a laptop that needs to be well-protected in your bag. But what size bag do you need and how do you know if your laptop fits in the laptop compartment?

A laptop compartment shouldn't be too big. Your tablet or laptop should sit securely in the compartment and not be able to slide around too much. A laptop compartment that is too small won't work either, of course. That is why we are happy to help you find a bag with the right dimensions.

The dimensions of tablets and laptops are almost always indicated in inches. One inch is equal to 2.54 centimeters. With the table below, you can easily see how many centimeters your laptop screen measures diagonally.

Don't know how many inches your laptop is? Then measure the screen diagonally with a ruler or tape measure. Measure from the bottom left corner of the screen to the top right corner. Measure only the screen and not the border around it. Is the diagonal dimension, for example, about 33 centimeters? Then you have a 13-inch laptop.
